What They Say: "For smooth grooming: a rich mix of vitamins, herbs and tea tree oil - tames tangles, refreshes your head, feeds your hair and soothes your scalp."
Jen's Experience: When was buying my Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray a while back, I read the back of the bottle and it suggested using Tonic before applying the Thickening Spray. Now, Bumble and Bumble products aren't cheap, but I wanted to have the full effect of the Thickening, so I purchased both. The Tonic product is supposed to make your hair healthier, which is always good for my dry, chemically-treated hair. And it tingles when you put it on, and in my book, that's always a good thing (thus my lip plumper addiction). And the results? Well, it works, but not as well as it could. You have to use A LOT of this before it starts working. Or at least before it starts tingling, and according to the directions, you are supposed to wait until you feel the tingle before you comb it through your hair. It really will make your hair healthier looking, and in fact, makes a bigger difference in the appearance of my hair than the Thickening Spray. However, if you're in the market for something to make you hair look markedly healthier and shinier, I would recommend Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Cream over the Tonic.

I love this stuff. I have fairly fine hair that is very curly, and this spray is very useful for freshening up my style on mornings (or after noon workouts) when I don't really need to wash my hair. It adds just a little weight, which is quite helpful in this humid-in-summer climate (MN).
