Profound Beauty Structure Lock Spray
What They Say: "Individuality, shape and finish are separated - and united - by STRUCTURE. This collection separates the style from the cut, bringing definition as you like it. Just the right amount of shine, hold and control are now at your fingertips, applied root to tip.
Structure Lock sets with touchable hold during thermal styling and delivers strong, long-lasting hold when locking in a finishing style."
What Lisa Says: My hair has grown out past shoulder length and is so much heavier than the shorter "Do's" I've been sporting the past few years. I actually found the Structure Lock spray to be just what I needed for not only a styling spray but a finishing spray as well. I sprayed this product at the root and it held the height and body of the hair extremely well with no flattening all day and into the evening. Less is more when it comes to using this as a finishing spray. It doesn't take much to hold the style and, while not "crispy" feeling, my hair did feel "coated" with residue that didn't brush out easily. A lighter spritz proved adequate for holding and while I found it didn't add any shine, it didn't take away any natural shine.
I will definitely continue using this product for the hold alone. There is no fragrance other than the average "hairspray scent" which quickly diminishes to nothingness. The only major problem I had with this bottle of spray was that the nozzle tends to clog delivering one or two long streams of spray before the it clears. I found it frustrating and a waste of product so I took one "lippie" off for that. Once clear though I was quite happy with the hold!

Review: Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo
What They Say: "Refresh, revive, and recharge hair and scalp without water. Pronto is perfect for use between washings, in a rush, or as a midday hair pick-me-up. This dry shampoo increases volume and removes dirt and build up in your root area in seconds.
Natural rice, oat, and tapioca starches cleanse hair by absorbing excess oil, product, and grease and increase hair volume at the roots without weighing hair down. Triclosan and tea tree oil help treat the scalp and reduce the occurrence of dandruff, while the invigorating lemon verbena fragrance leaves hair smelling and feeling fresh.
Key Ingredients:
- Natural Rice, Oat and tapioca starches cleanse hair
- Triclosan and tea tree Oil help nourish scalp
- Lemon verbena fragrance provide fresh and clean scent to eliminate odor"
Jen's Experience: Hair powder, or dry shampoos are an excellent way to extend a blowout for another day, and for me, they're essential at this point in the summer, when my bangs want to look greasy when I just step outside of the house. This one from Oscar Blandi is fabulous: it quickly brings my hair back to looking clean without looking dull. The white powder blends in easily with my blonde hair, although I'm not sure how well it would work on darker hair. My only complaint is that it doesn't last throughout the day; I need a touch-up after about 8 hours. Still, I think this would be a great addition to your hair arsensal, and maybe a little back-up for your gym bag.

Jonathan Product Redo Freshen-Up Mist For Hair & Skin
What They Say: "Revitalizing and conditioning Cucumber/Rose Essential Water refreshes slightly dirty, oily hair and vegetable enzyme neutralizes odors and leaves hair smelling clean. Natural extracts like white tea, almond, aloe, and pomegranate condition and add shine. Also can be used to refresh, hydrate, and condition skin. Product is 100 percent vegan and alcohol-free."
Jonathan on Redo: "A trick I learned from working on fashion shoots and runways - sometimes I just did not have time to wash and style models' dirty hair. So I mixed up my own botanical water infusion spray. It allowed me to rework and restyle sections of hair without shampooing and took away any stale odors. Soon the models were asking me for bottles of the "redo" and using it everywhere - on their skin - and anywhere including behind the scenes at fashion shows and even on airplane flights."
Jen's Experience: Finally! A product for people like me: who on occasion would like to sleep in just a little bit more, but have to get up in time to wash her hair. Well, even if you rise and shine with the the sun, I think you'll find this to be a handy product in your beauty regimen. I was totally surprised at how effective this solution is, and I think you will be, too!
A couple of sprays of Redo after you've got some product build-up or on slightly greasy hair will make the hair a little on the damp side. Once it dries, your hair will be revived and you can restyle it (and reapply other styling products) as you wish. This is a great product for refreshing your hair after a long day before you hit the town, or -- if you're like me -- fending off the inevitable bad hair day that results from hitting the snooze button one too many times. If it weren't liquid, this would totally be something I would bring on the plane with me for long flights to help my hair recover from the dry airplane air.
No matter what your use, this is a terrific product that really does what it claims to do. Even though it's not part of my daily beauty routine, it's a product I'm glad to have on my shelves!
